1 Robert Dawl Beavers was jointly charged with Edith Edgemon in the district court of Pottawatomie County with the crime of murder. Thereafter a motion to quash information and dismiss cause as to Edith Edgemon was by the court sustained, following which defendant Beavers was tried before a jury, convicted of manslaughter in the first degree, and his punishment fixed at 18 years confinement in the State Penitentiary.
